Resolution: 4 Architecture is a widely published and highly acclaimed ten-person architecture firm with projects in the residential, commercial and public realms. Founded in 1990 in New York by Joseph Tanney and Robert Luntz, the firm has extensive experience in residential design, stemming from an understanding of structural relationships developed in the firms completed houses, and a focus on the articulation of detail developed in the firm's lofts and apartments. Resolution: 4 Architecture's most recent preoccupation, The Modern Modular, is a systematic methodology of design that attempts to leverage existing methods of prefabrication for residential construction. These efforts are an attempt to offer an option of 'Mass Customization' to the single-family housing market, thereby aesthetically transforming the sub-urban fabric of the American domestic landscape. Each RES4 Prefab is designed specifically for each client, site and budget to maximize the homes performance and take advantage of the environmental, structural and economical benefits of standard, proven modular construction techniques.
