BRIDGEHAMPTON HOUSE - NEW PLAYHOUSE

Bridgehampton, NY – We visited our MODERN MODULAR Bridgehampton house this summer and captured some photos of the treehouse playhouse we designed after the house was completed. Made from cedar slats stained to match the house, the playhouse incorporates all the key items from the kids’ wishlists and more, including a firepole, cargo net tunnel and hammock, rope ladder, hiding places, and lookout points!

SHARON RESIDENCE - CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Sharon, CT – Construction is finishing up at the Sharon Residence. A 1,892 SF pre-fab home consisting of 4 modules. The exterior of the house is clad in fibre-cement panels with clear cedar infill. The interior has dark bamboo flooring and custom maple cabinetry. It is exciting to the see the project nearing completion!

MILLBROOK RESIDENCE – CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

“Punxsutawney Phil was pulled from his burrow in Gobbler's Knob Sunday morning and did not see see his shadow, which, according to legend, means an early spring and warmer temperatures are coming.” — The Weather Channel

Early spring means we are that much closer to being able to start planting, and finish the landscaping. Hardscape was installed late last year as winter set in, and we’ve been eagerly awaiting spring to see the vegetation get planted.

SHARON RESIDENCE - CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Sharon, CT – Construction is moving along at the Sharon Residence. A 1,892 SF pre-fab home consisting of 4 modules. The deck framing is complete and the carport slab has been poured. Next up is decking, carport framing, cement board siding, and interior bamboo flooring. Exciting to the see the progress!

SHARON RESIDENCE - MODULE SET

Sharon, CT – Photographs from the set for the Sharon Residence.  Starting in the morning, four modules were lifted by a crane and set on the insulated concrete form foundation before the evening. An early afternoon rain didn’t slow the progress down!

MILLBROOK RESIDENCE – CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Dutchess County, NY – Stucco and wood siding are nearly complete on the main house exterior. Black aluminum panels will be going up next, along with wood decks. Prefinished 10-inch wide-plank engineered wood flooring is being installed throughout the interior. Kitchen & bathroom stone flooring, countertops, and stone wall cladding are also underway. Hot rolled black steel cladding accentuates special walls throughout the interior spaces. Pool House finishes are getting started, and we’ll be shooting the vanishing edge pool shotcrete soon! Check back with us over the next month or so for more construction updates as we head towards project completion.

FIFTH AVENUE APARTMENT - CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

New York, NY - At our Fifth Avenue Apartment Renovation, construction is wrapping up, and the owner is getting ready to move in. Existing wood parquet floors were bleached and stained, creating a nearly monolithic look. Metallic millwork paint is light and reflective, while introducing some subtle color. LED lighting throughout make the spaces feel bright. As we were trying to keep the ceilings high to the concrete structural slab, we did not have room for recessed fixtures in most spaces. So, much of the lighting is linear LED incorporated into coves, millwork, or within the sheetrock thickness at the ceiling.

SURFSIDE RESIDENCE RENOVATION - CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Montauk, NY - Our Surfside Renovation and Addition is nearing completion, getting ready for the owner to move in next week. Some progress photos from a site visit earlier this week show new precast concrete Get Real pavers, the plaster finishes and walnut millwork, and the amazing ocean views throughout the house.

SURFSIDE RESIDENCE RENOVATION - CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Montauk, NY - Progress photos from a recent visit to RES4 Surfside Renovation and Addition in the Hamptons. The 5,350 sf existing house received a full renovation and a 245 sf addition for the master office. Final finishes and softscape are being completed for a summer move-in.

WEST STOCKBRIDGE RESIDENCE – CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

West Stockbridge, MA – Drone video from a recent visit to RES4’s prefab project in Massachusetts. Nearing completion, the West Stockbridge Residence is a 2,825 square foot house with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. During the site visit, RES4 met with the clients, contractor, and the landscape design team to initiate final grading and select vegetation for the planter beds.
